Regardless of whether you just like to make things for around the house or you do this full-time, you can find like minded individuals here to chat. This server is strictly focused on the craft - there's no off-topic. If you are looking for a server to meme away, this is not the place for you. While we do our best not to gatekeep people from this hobby / profession, you are going to have to accept that if you ask a question and don't like the answer - it's not going to change. Some things are a constant - wood is always going to move and woodworking is an *expensive* hobby. Otherwise come on in! Ask your questions and post your most recent project! I hear the carvers are doing something with spoons!
