What are Dapper Dinos, and What's the Karma Collective? Dapper Dinos are a collection of 9,444 randomly generated dinosaurs roaming the Ethereum blockchain. The Karma Collective are an additional collection memorializing the brave 555 dinos that sacrificed themselves to save all dinokind. Your dino is nonfungible -- meaning it is certifiably unique and cannot be replaced with any other dino. See both opensea collections below. How dapper is my dino? Dinosaurs would not have went extinct if we all remembered that all dinos are dapper. However, certain dinos are more dapper than others. A dino's dapperness ranges from DAPPER to DASHING. These categories are determined by which items your Dapper Dino is made up of. DAPPER items like a scarf or a hat are worth fewer points than more DASHING items like a dive hat or a cheetah tracksuit. Why did you make Dapper Dinos? The answer for us is shockingly simple -- our kids. Our kids saw the Bored Ape Yacht Club and Cool Cats and kept asking to "see the cats & apes" -- making us scroll through our phones for hours. Phrases like "I like the one with the TV Head" & "that ape LOVES pizza" became common place in our households. Soon, our dino-obssessed kids that have been saying "Parasaurolophus" and "Pachycephalosaurus" since they've been 2-years old started asking us to turn the cats & apes into dinos "RIGHT NOW." Initially our answers were that "cats & apes can't turn into dinos" But the more we thought about it - the more we asked ourselves why can't cats & apes turn into dinos? Dinos are bored and cool too, right? So from that day Dapper Dino was born. We hope we can create something pretty cool that the broader NFT Community loves, but ultimately we just hope our kids like them - even if we are the only ones who buy them! To hopefully hear them ask to "see the dinos" will make all the work worth it!
